Bisleri - Regional Supply Chain Manager - South (10-15 yrs)

Job Description :
Job Objective:-
- End-to-end responsible across all aspects of the Supply Chain function within the Region including capacity planning & expansion, manufacturing, and logistics
- Develop and deploy a Supply Chain Strategy for the Region enabling operational excellence to maximize value for Bisleri
Key Responsibilities:-
Regional Business Planning :
- Develop & deploy a Supply Chain strategy for the Region including Capacity Planning, Production and Logistics
- Support Regional Head - Sales & Operations in building a business case for requirement of supply nodes (own or co-packer plants) by conducting long-term supply and demand planning, project costing and cost-benefit analysis on the scalability of the project
- Lead Regional SCM teams and Branch Managers the monthly to conduct Sales & Operations process
Capacity Expansion :
- Guide Regional Lead - Projects basis finalized capacity expansion plan including:
- Identification, evaluation, and on-boarding of co-packers
- Overseeing site-selection, planning, and construction of own plants
Manufacturing :
- Drive efficient manufacturing operations by ensuring effective coordination between Regional Supply Chain Planner and Plant/Co-packer Managers
- Act as the focal point for driving effective coordination between Corporate Quality, Regional Quality and other Regional Supply Chain Management teams to ensure adherence to quality standards for in-coming RMPM, WIP and finished goods
- Define and drive implementation of metrics for standardization of Manufacturing operations across own plants
- Guide Plant & Co-packer Manager in regular review of performance of own plants and co-packers within the Region; take corrective action in case of any deviations from desired quality and efficiency standards
- Support Corporate Quality and Regional Quality in conducting periodic quality reviews and audits of Franchise facilities, RMPM, and finished goods
- Provide technical and/or market development support to Franchises within the Region on a need basis, in consultation with Head - Franchise & International Operations
Logistics :
- Guide Regional Lead - Logistics and Branch Manager in identification and evaluation of Logistics Transporters for each Branch basis cost and quality parameters
- Define, implement and monitor performance against metrics for standardizing logistics operations, and driving efficient warehousing & distribution operations
Operational Excellence :
- Act as the primary owner for all Regional initiatives focusing on Sales enhanced SCM effectiveness such as S&OP discipline
People Management :
- Provide inputs for finalization of the annual manpower plan for the team
- Drive a culture of performance amongst subordinates - set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel, provide feedback on performance to drive an engaged, motivated and committed team
- Develop the capabilities to take on higher responsibilities while performing the given/in-charge responsibilities at various levels within the functions
- Drive adequate training of SCM teams to meet the requirements of the role and be able to handle market dynamics
