Bosch - Advanced Engineering Role - eMotors Components & Complete Machine (3-12 yrs)
Job Description
- Familiar with innovation management and hands-on experience in leading technology intensive projects
- Responsible for maturing solutions or technology towards introduction in motors area with a mid-term (1-2 years) to long-term (> 2 years) time plan
- Responsible for deriving and realizing thermic concepts
- Overall responsibility of components and assemblies from a constructive point of view (design) guarantee of a functionality, ready for production, assembly meet, meeting timeline and meeting the target costing.
- Main contact person for design and development topics internally (eMotors) /external (Supplier) for the respective component/assembly
- Release of the work products (Materials, Norms, Production instr. and Drawings)
Supplier management at a technical level
FMEA of the assembly / product.
Qualifications :
M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engg. or Motors (IITs / NITs / Recognized Top Universities)
Additional information:
1 Clarification of constructive and technical questions internally/external (interface to the internal / external customer, suppliers, process development, production line, sample shop)
2 Faimiliar with 3D-modeling and 2D-drawing creation in TcE and NX including SAP-documentation and creating of PRV, FHW, assembly Instructions on component-/assembly-level
3Keeping the milestones of the schedule plan on component-/assembly-level
4 Coordination and Execution of the component testing with the lead-designer and the validation team Product development acc. PE
5 Collaboration in Basic ISEC teams (Simultaneous Engineering), project team
6 Development of validation plans in close cooperation with trial and application
7 Cooperation in the development of assembly and manufacturing processes
8 Assignment of analytical calculations e.g.: FEM-simulations (hardness, EMAG-influences, number of rotations, temperature) on component-/assembly-level
9 Participation and responsibility in the project for FMEA, DFMA, DRBFM, Focus area matrix, list of special characteristics, FHW, PRV on component-/assembly-level
10 Support procurement of components (sample parts)
11 Derive special components (for telemetry and thermal machines)
12 Complete document set of the component/assembly to be prepared for the ordering of samples and product release. Feasibility studies and evaluations / BOM- s, drawings / testing and ordering regulations, production notes, List of special characteristics
Tolerance calculations - arithmetic & statistical (2D or 3D), identification of the main-contributors for functional safekeeping & generating cost optimization measures on assembly-level
13 Function and requirement analysis according to PE methods
14 Results/Verification of the component testings
15 German language skills would be an added advantage
