Job Description -

In a startup, one cannot limit job to one function, and work assigned could vary significantly. One day you would be working on a technical project and next day you might find yourself assisting a sales person on a marketing presentation and next day you would be performing some other task.

However, role of the candidate would majorly be technical. It would be a very learning and exciting role for the candidate. S/He would be working with the technical team in commercializing the technology developed by the company. The candidate will be working on designing the equipment and plants, implement the process at pilot/commercial scale, work on further technological developments etc.

The suitable candidate will be awarded/promoted to a leadership role.

The role will include -

Duties & Responsibilities-

- Economic Feasibility Analysis of various chemical & related processes & technologies

- Carry out chemical calculation (Mass/Energy Balance)

- testing new processes

- collecting data required to make improvements and modifications

- Overseeing the construction of new plants

- Using and developing process simulation software to work out the best production methods

- Work with the purchasing and installing equipment

- Using scientific principles related to magnitude, momentum, heat transfer etc

- Supervising plant operations

Skills Set -

- Proven academic record

- Good understanding of chemical engineering concepts

- Working experience in similar field/company

- Strong Communication Skills (Oral & Written)

- Strong work ethics

- Ability to work independently as well as with the team

- Experienced in MS office (MS Word, XL, PPT)

Education Qualification B.Tech/M.Tech (in Chemical Engineering) from top tier engineering college

Experience 2-4 Years in Chemical Industry

Compensation A compensation package commensurate with experience +ESOps
