Calyx - Plant Head (5-10 yrs)
Job Title:- microfine Production Plant Head
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Operations:- Manage day-to-day production activities, including raw material handling, grinding, burning, and cement milling.
2. Quality Control:- Ensure consistent product quality by implementing quality control measures and monitoring testing results.
3. Maintenance:- Oversee maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime experience in grading equipment.
4. Safety and Environment:- Implement and enforce safety protocols, environmental regulations, and housekeeping standards.
5. Team Management:- Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff, including shift supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel.
6. Production Planning:- Coordinate with logistics and sales teams to plan production schedules, meet customer demands, and optimize inventory levels.
7. Cost Control:- Monitor and control production costs, including energy consumption, raw material usage, and labor expenses.
8. Continuous Improvement:- Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and track benefits.
Requirements:
1. Education:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience:- Minimum 10 years of experience in microfine production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Knowledge:- In-depth understanding of microfine production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
4. Skills:- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications/Awards:
- Professional certifications like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- Awards or recognition for safety, quality, or productivity achievements
