ROLE TITLE: Manager - Technical Mixing

REPORTS TO: Sr. Mgr. - Technical LOCATION: DATE:

JOB PURPOSE: To provide technical support for the manufacturing process in the designated area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

R & D

1. PROCESS & PRODUCT :

- Responsible for all the technological activities at the designated area

- Product performance

- Product quality improvement

- Process developmental activities

- System implementation, monitoring and control

2. TECHNICAL ECONOMY:

- Product specification optimization in the designated area

3. CLAIMS & LOSSES:

- Monitor products in order to bring in continuous improvement, and keep claims and losses to a minimum

4. SELECTION OF RAW MATERIAL SOURCES:

- Conducting trials for the development of new sources for the existing and alternate raw material.

5. TECHNICAL & QUALITY TASKS:

- Provide technical know-how to the designated area

COMPETENCIES - Proficiency in Tyre Manufacturing Technology (Foundational) (Technical knowhow & ability in tyre designs, production processes, systems, layout plans and quality measure)

- Proficiency in Plant systems & processes (Basic) (Ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM and other contemporary systems & process.)

- Business Focus (Basic)

(Knowhow on organisation mission, Code of conduct, product SKUs, accountabilities w.r.t market scenario & competition & ability to apply in one's role)

- Customer Orientation (Basic)

(Cultural orientation to engage with customers, proactively assess their needs and continuously create value for them)

- Data Interpretation Ability (Basic)

(Ability to study & interpret data/trends and draw inferences/projections)
