Job Location : Arusha (Tanzania)

Desired Profile :

- Age : 45-50 years

- B.Tech / M.Tech (Chemical)

- 15-20 years experience in Pesticides Formulation Plant

- Should be able to manage / lead overall company operations including Finance, Admin/HR, Production,Supply Chain, Strategy and growth etc...

- Should have experience of setting up Green Field Project

Job Responsibilities :

- R&D & Product Development


- Encourage innovation in formulations, packaging, and eco-friendly products.


- Work with R&D to ensure competitive and compliant pesticide offerings.


- Trials & Approvals


- Strategic Leadership


- Develop and execute the company's long-term vision and strategy aligned with market trends and regulatory requirements.


- Drive business growth, product diversification, and market expansion (domestic & international).


- Plant Operations Oversight


- Oversee day-to-day operations of the formulation plant, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality control.


- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (CIBRC, FCO, BIS) and environmental safety norms.


- Monitor production planning, inventory management, and capacity utilization.


- Sales & Marketing


- Guide and support the sales & marketing team in building strong distribution channels.


- Explore new markets, tenders, and government opportunities.


- Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies.


- Financial Management


- Set financial goals, approve budgets, and track profitability, cost control, and cash flow.


- Ensure effective use of capital and resources for sustainable growth.


- Team Leadership & Culture


- Lead senior management and promote a performance-driven, ethical culture.


- Mentor key leaders across departments (production, QA/QC, regulatory, marketing, HR).


- Stakeholder Management


- Represent the company to board members, investors, regulatory authorities, and partners.


- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and government bodies.
