RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

- The purpose of the role is to lead, oversee and monitor Construction activities for all Sites/Projects and ensure completion as per the targeted date/deadlines

- Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals

- Facilitate the definition of project scope, tasks, resource requirements, goals and deliverables

- Designing and implementing stringent systems, detailed design and quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality standards during all the stages of project

- Cost optimization through value engineering technique

- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools & provide direction and support to project team

- Effective Monitoring of on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters

- Effective resource utilization to maximise the output and reduce wastage

- Manage and monitor Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Health & Safety issues

- Coordinate with various stakeholders - contractors, architects, suppliers, consultants, execution team, and management to ensure timely flow of work

- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

- Eliminate redundant / obsolete processes involved in the design, development processes and working towards value-addition; conducting trials & tests, identify any changes and suggesting modifications

- Explore and Evaluate new technologies, materials etc. to reduce cost, expedite work without compromising quality

- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant

- Interact and network with industry participants and competitors to keep informed of trends, norms, regulations and challenges

- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as and when required

- Periodic reporting to Management

- Report any abnormalities to the Management as soon as noticed
