Chief Engineer - Hospitality Industry (4-6 yrs)
Operations & Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, elevators, pools, and other resort facilities.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and manage the engineering team to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability within the team.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to local and national building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget, including operational and capital expenditures.
- Monitor energy usage and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Crisis Management:
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages, equipment failures, and severe weather events to ensure guest safety and minimize service disruptions.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with the management team on renovations, expansions, and new installations.
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality project execution.
Guest Relations: Ensure all engineering services meet or exceed guest expectations in terms of timeliness, quality, and professionalism.
