Chief Executive Officer - Construction (18-25 yrs)
Candidate Specification:
The successful candidate will be a person of integrity and have proven leadership skills.
The individual must be a strategic thinker, possess strong business acumen, and preferably have at least five (5) years experience at the senior management level at an construction contracting company.
A demonstrated understanding and respect of the cooperative principles and business model is essential. The individual will have established strong interpersonal, team building, member relations, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge in the areas of legislation affecting construction industry, project management, contract management, tendering, financial management, strategic planning, safety, and public relations is required.
The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communications skills and an appreciation for family driving business culture.
A bachelor's degree in Civil engineering with Masters in Civil Engineering or Business Administration is preferred

The position is a newly created role to drive a family driven construction business with operations across East Africa. The move was done to induct a professional CEO to manage the P&L activities for the business and report to the board.
The incumbent will be responsible for new business development, project management, internal and external stakeholder management, legal and compliance, contract management, technical and commercial management and people management. The incumbent should also drive change management
The incumbent will be responsible to drive business relationship across the geography.
