Head - Operations

Key Requirements:

Capabilities and Responsibilities:

- Must have at least 5 years' experience in leading a multi- disciplinary team consisting of Electronics & Software/Firmware Design and Development engineers, project managers, purchase and production personnel

- Finalization of product specifications, product delivery schedules and quality requirements in consultation with customer, Head - Technical and Head - Quality

- Management and Review of System Design and ensuring that the design meets customer requirements

Chairs all project review meetings which includes review of:

- Electronic & Electrical Hardware Design and Development

- Embedded Software Design and Development

- Application Software Design and Development

- Production and Purchase

- Customer Support and Service

- Part of the team involved in preparation and finalization of techno- commercial proposals to all customers

- Co- ordination between Business Development, Design, Purchase, Quality and Production to ensure on- time delivery to customer.

- Monitors the status of Customer Complaints and ensures successful conclusion of such complaints within the committed timeframe.

- Ensures creation of complete design documentation and preservation of such documents as per company's cyber security policy.

Support Activities:

- Participate in internal review and business review meetings

- Documents key aspects of the scope to explain team members on the deliverables

- Understands the Plant Operations and documents its systems, collates project data for analysis & future operations

Manage Resources:

- Identifies, allocates and develops Resources for all aspects of the Design, Development, Production, Testing, Purchase, Store and Quality Team

- Responsible for identification of training needs in consultation with them and submit a training plan for all his reportees.

- Responsible for all the Project Deliveries

Continual Improvement:

- Improvement of Design, Development, Production, Testing, Production Processes.

- Responsible for bringing in KAIZEN in his areas.

- Planning for Development of futuristic technology.

- Ability to build and maintain excellent relations with peers and subordinates

- Ability to motivate, lead and review the work of a team of engineers (electronics, electrical and mechanical)

- Establish close relations with customer team

- No compromise attitude on product and process quality
