We are recruiting Chief Operating Officer (Warehouse Operations) at Gurgaon for our client - A state of the art logistics facilitator & a fully fledged transportation company having 1200 + trucks and a total of 48 branches in India.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position : Chief Operating Officer (Warehouse Operations)
Location : Gurgaon.
Package : 42 Lac to 45 Lacs per annum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Heading the overall warehouse operations of the company. Excellent skills to run the warehouse operations in a smooth & effective manner.
- Proven work experience in a Leadership Position in warehouse management.
Must possess excellent knowledge of :
1. Modern warehouse and inventory practices.
2. Effectively managing a large team at the warehouse.
3. Managing & overseeing the storeroom operations.
- Responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for the Warehouse. Ensure orders getting shipped out within defined SLA.
- Coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations and build leadership bench strength.
- Define the operational metrics, set up processes and systems to scale up business with the unwavering focus on operational efficiency and profitability. Measure performance, provide feedback and hold Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. Able to address operational and personnel issues affecting functional area.
