Job Description :

This Individual Will Be Responsible For:

- Designing building structures.

- Designing piping systems.

- Working with Electrical and Process engineer to integrate general arrangement for equipment into the building design.

- Creating bill of materials for all designs.

Major Duties:

- Develop engineering designs for transportable structures, components, and electromechanical assemblies that have tough requirements for size, precision, reliability and cost.

- Use 3D modeling and 2D drawings to complete physical and mechanical designs, details, drawings, and layouts for manufactured equipment.

- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application; -Consults with Cost Estimators and Project Managers to calculate cost and determine feasibility of projects based on analysis of collected data.

- Complete structural or mechanical analysis of steel fabricated buildings and manufactured equipment in compliance with AISC, IBC, and other applicable codes.

- Interface with the Production Manager, shop floor supervisors, and Project Managers to coordinate, or monitor the technical aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.

- Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
