Civil Engineer - Tekla Modeler (5-8 yrs)
We are hiring for Civil Engineer (TEKLA MODELER).
Profile:Civil Engineer (TEKLA MODELER)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
A) Maintains a current knowledge/understanding of latest version of AISC steel construction manual as it relates to connection design, detailing practices and general steel properties.
B) Reviews contract documents to learn project scope of work and requirements. Identify potential areas of concern to your manager so that they may be addressed and resolved quickly.
C) Create structural and miscellaneous models (models & connections) to develop shop drawings for use by the client for fabrication of individual pieces of steel.
D) Creates erection drawings to be used by the steel fabricator and erector to assemble the steel structure in the field.
E) Assist in drawing editing as required to achieve project deliverables.
F) Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes and other revisions into the scope of project.
G) Assist in the preparation and submittal of all necessacary lists, documents or files (shop & field bolts, material list, galvanized pieces, CNC files etc.) to the appropriate department in support of this project.
Qualification : Diploma or BE Civil Engineering would be desirable, However any other education degree relevant will also be considered.
Experience : 8-10 years of experience in Steel Detailing with TEKLA structures and minimum 4-5 years of experience as X-STEEL Modeler.
Salary : 40k to 60k P.M
