A Leading textile Organization is currently looking to hire a Manager Civil Engineering to plan and execute the utilities & Civil planning for the plant right from the project phase. In this role, the candidate will report to the Engineering Head. In the project phase, the organization will hire a consultant to help in the planning of utilities and execution.

The candidate will have the following roles, responsibilities and major competencies:

1. Must be able to read, check, prepare and alter, guide the lay outs of drawings for Civil installations like pipe network for Steam, Water, Air, TFH etc. and coordinate work with Consultants/Contractors of Civil work, at the time of planning and execution of project work.

2. Must be able to intelligently understand the CAD Drawings for the civil work to be carried out in the execution of project. Must be also able to for see and identify from drawings if there is anything wrong or infirmity / weakness in plan or any incorrectness/discrepancy in drawings.

3. Must possess knowledge of, civil work related to the installations and commissioning of knitting machines, dyeing machines, washing range, stenters, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, radiators, pumps, dyeing machines, finishing machines, boilers, TFH, ETP, RO Plant, Softener Plant, etc. pertaining to a Dyeing finishing plant primarily and coating machine.

4. Knowledge of erection and commissioning of Chilling Plants / Humidification plants; Air Compressors etc.

5. Must be able to calculate requirement of Diameter of various pipe lines for water, Steam, Hot Water, Thermic Fluid Heater, etc.

6. Must be able to calculate requirement of pipes lengths, for Air, Water, TFH, Steam, Cooling Water Return etc.

7. Must have sufficient knowledge of handling problems during erection and commissioning and operations of all the machinery (especially Utilities), and technically Production machines also.

8. Must be able to identify areas for Energy conservation, cost curtailing, improvements from civil points, at later stage in the plant after plant is put in production.
