Civil Manager - Plant Engineering

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

- Conduct SDD (Site Due Diligence) studies before construction commences.

- Perform topographic boundary surveys.

- Coordinate geotechnical investigations.

- Evaluate land leveling and drainage systems.

- Conduct environmental assessments including soil, water, and air quality surveys.

- Prepare layouts for boundaries, roads, and drainage networks.

- Gather and analyze user requirements; contribute to design input and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

- Develop vendor identification criteria and conduct evaluations.

- Review and approve GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.

- Plan and manage construction costs and budgets.

- Oversee construction site management focusing on safety, progress, and milestone achievement.

- Manage commercial aspects including PR (Purchase Requests), PO (Purchase Orders), billing, and payments.

- Functional Competencies Required:

- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and Hindi.

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and other design software.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite.

- Proactive and flexible approach to work.

- Strong time management, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Experience in team management and collaboration.

Reporting Structure:

- Division: Plant Engineering

- Supervisor: Reports to DGM (Deputy General Manager) or General Manager

Candidate Criteria:

- Gender: Male/Female

- Age: 35 - 45 years

- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering

- Experience: 15 - 20 years in mega or high-volume construction industries, preferably in the automobile, refinery, or pharma sectors.
