Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in civil site construction, particularly in site excavation, and will be skilled in cost estimation for materials, manpower, and other project requirements. This role is crucial for preparing accurate and comprehensive details to support the bidding team during the pre-bid stage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site Construction Management: Oversee and manage site excavation activities, including the accurate digging of holes and other preliminary site preparation tasks. Ensure that all site work adheres to safety regulations and engineering standards.

- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects/digging of holes, including materials, manpower, equipment, and other resources required. Prepare and present cost estimates and budget forecasts to the bidding team.

- Support in Pre-Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the bidding team to compile and submit accurate pre-bid documentation. Provide technical input and support during the bidding process to ensure the proposal meets client requirements and project specifications.

- Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, site conditions, and engineering specifications. Ensure all construction activities are performed according to design plans and industry best practices.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, cost estimates, and project documentation. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

- Proven experience in civil site construction, particularly in site excavation and hole digging.

- Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation for construction projects, including materials, manpower, and equipment.

- Experience in preparing pre-bid documentation and supporting the bidding process.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.

- Proficiency in estimation software and tools like AUTOCAD, Solidworks, etc.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to site excavation and construction.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum 9-10 years of experience in Civil Site Engineer/Role.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and documentation.
