Cloudtail is seeking an experienced candidate to lead the development and execution of innovative Supply Chain solutions for the business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong Supply Chain and Logistics background along with an understanding of the local tax & regulatory issues and its impact on supply chain design and operations, having worked within large scale & fast moving international companies renowned for their state-of-the-art Supply Chain and Logistics functions.

This person will work extensively with Retail, 3rd Party Fulfillment Centre Operations, Transportation, and Finance teams to build and successfully deliver customer focused infrastructure, processes and solutions. This person will manage the Imports Supply chain and work with international shippers, Customs and have the understanding of all the statutory and legal requirements involved in handling of imports.

The candidate should have held senior positions in the Supply Chain function while having strong experience in Capacity Planning, Network Design, Inventory Management and S&OP. Should have demonstrated experience of successfully driving complex, milestone driven projects with a proven track record in designing/implementing advanced Supply Chain processes and tools. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is located in Bangalore.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ability to handle and have working knowledge of legal and regulatory framework existing in the country and develop solutions around the same.

- Ability to negotiate with transporters, global shippers and freight forwarders and should leverage his contacts for building fruitful relationships.

- Gather and analyze data across business functions to establish global standards for supply chain and product fulfillment.

- Hire, manage, and develop a team of high-impact and highly skilled supply chain professionals.

- Ability to extract insights from data, latest internal and external information and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions.

- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

- Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.

- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary

- Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape

- Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network

- Manage cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects

- Act as Single point of contact for from operations team to support all new category launches.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline

- 6+ years- experience managing Supply Chain operations including S&OP, Capacity Planning, Inventory Planning

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of lookups and pivot tables

- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline

- Additional experience of having managed large Logistics/Transportation networks, multi-category warehouses and vendor management areas will be very useful

- Ability to develop and manage 3PL service providers especially for categories like White Goods and Furniture
