CN Water - Commissioning Engineer - Installation & Operational Qualification (1-5 yrs)
Job Description :
- Planning and coordinating all pre-commissioning & commissioning activities (Water Room availability, electro-mechanical, feed water, utilities, chemicals, qualification documents)
- Conducting IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) procedures to ensure that the systems are installed and operating correctly
- Developing and executing commissioning plans, including protocols, procedures, and schedules
- Following functional checklists and SOPs for start-up of system at site (NaOCL, MGF, IRF, ACF, SCF, UF, SF, High Purity System, Potable Ozone, UV System, Osmotron, PW S&D, WFI, Pure Steam Generation System)
- Coordinating with project stakeholders, to ensure all requirements are met.
- Conducting system testing and validation to ensure that the water treatment plants meet the required performance standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during commissioning
- Providing tech support and training to customer's personnel during handover
- Ensuring that all commissioning activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Knowledge & Skills Required :
- Understanding of water applications and required international standards codes and compliances related to pharma water
- Product knowledge: Water chemistry, each product design & functioning
- Types of documents: ISPE based guidelines for compliances, ASME & BPE Standards, USP, EP, IP standards
- Types of Compliances: USFDA, EP, WHO- Drinking water, GMP, GAMP
- Water treatment knowledge: MGF, Softener, Disinfection, Chlorination, Ozonation, Osmotron
- Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and CSV (Computer Systems Validation) guidelines
- Strong working knowledge of industrial applications and methodologies - P&ID Diagram, SCADA, PLC
- Good written and verbal communication skills (will be an added advantage)
