Experience - 4+ years. ITI with Experience on SIEMENS controls on CNC Lathe will be necessary.

1.Working from charts, work sheets, established procedure, and instructions from supervisor and other designated personnel

2.Planning/performing wide range of rough and finish turning, step and taper turning, facing, drilling, boring, recessing, chamfering, tapping, threading, grinding and any operations within the capacity of the machines, on a wide variety of parts, castings, forgings, weldments, special parts.

3.CNC programming of simple and medium difficult manufacturing sequences for service parts (core component repairs)

4.Operations involve large and irregular shaped work.

5.Determination of holding methods requiring extensive clamping, use of independent and universal chuck jaws, angle plates, centers, mandrels, special fixtures and holding devices, and steady rests.

6.Using of extension bars, taper attachments or other equipment when necessary

7.Change gearing for thread cutting, and use grinder attachment for finishing work as necessary.

8.Reading and Interpreting of complicated technical drawings, to plan work in proper operational sequence

9.Positioning/aligning of work pieces, detecting and eliminating of run outs

10.Establishing of basic reference (measuring) points and ensure adequate stock for rough machining and finishing

11.Select and set tooling in cross slide, turret, and/or tailstock, and select and set speeds and feeds according to material, tooling and finish requirements

12.Detecting of unusual conditions, defective material or operating difficulties and report to proper supervision

13.General machine tool maintenance (coolant, lubrications, clean up, etc.)

14.Operating of pendant/radio controlled floor crane or jib crane to load and unload the machine tool
