Confectionery Operation Head - FMCG Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)
Job description :
- Planning work/shift schedule of staff and coordinating production through various departments. Ensuring adherence to all systems related to manufacturing, receipt of raw materials, and dispatch of packed finished products.
- Responsible for maintaining log of all activities related to confectionery manufacture at the manufacturing site. Conducting periodical Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) of plant process to ensure seamless production process and plant operation.
- Managing Production planning, Quality Assurance, Logistics planning, Supply chain management, improvement in Process Directing all manufacturing, warehousing and maintenance operations.
- Working with the MD to coordinate and direct operations and office management. Reviewing and analyzing costs of production, raw material and labour to recommend changes and to assess company's objectives.
Work Summary :
- A result oriented professional with 25 years of decisive executive leadership in managing Operations (Productions and maintenance) in manufacturing Confectioneries, extruded snacks of well-known companies, both in India and abroad.
- Associated with Omani Euro Food Industries S.A.O.G Sohar, Oman. as Factory Manager.
- Possess Manufacturing knowledge of baby food, chewing gums, bubble gums, biscuits, Lollipop, cookies, chocolates, toffees, candies, extruded snacks, and confectioneries,
- Proficient in modern management system like TPM, TQM, process control by six-sigma application and implementation of 5s, Kaizen activities in maintenance functions. Improving MTBF in Machines( Mean time between failure)
- Good understanding of functioning of confectionery manufacturing machines like Candy depositing machine, vacuum batch cookers, continuous coil/microfilm cookers, batch rollers, rotary candy forming machines and vertical and horizontal form fill seal machines.
