Continuous Improvement Specialist (1-4 yrs)
- The CI Specialist is responsible to identify and improve Planning, Supply chain, Logistics management and Sales processes and practices to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase revenue and satisfaction
- Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent
- The CI specialist/ team has to ensure that operations is performing as per defined systems and processes. Conduct audit to make it happen
Strategic Accountabilities :
- Drive long term improvement projects with pre-defined timelines and deliverables
- Ensure that defined systems and processes are operating as per standard. Any deviation should be discussed with concerned functional head and stakeholders, actions agreed and highlighted in weekly/ monthly management review.
Operations Accountabilities :
- Identify & facilitate process improvement projects across production, planning, supply chain and sales functions. Oversees the strategic development and implementation of sales initiatives/ strategies
- Competent in all system processes, compliance tracking and handle queries of stakeholders
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot issues, project planning, sales process monitoring and create process documentation
- Carrying out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility; this shall also include identification of new market, new Stockiest, new product, continuation of existing products.
- Assesses, develops and deploys network strategies for maximizing company reach and improving retail service levels. Creates opportunities and identifies high-level strategies for Sales and channels. Evaluates local context for maximum advantage and assesses related investment decisions.
- Design, Install, debug and improvise tools and systems for process improvement
- Drive value stream mapping to define - As-Is Analysis- and the transition to Future State
- Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent amongst all stakeholders. Conduct training is necessary
- Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and reporting on key responsibilities and objectives. Highlight the key concerns sighted by stakeholders during system audits and interactions
- Preparation of monthly project scorecard reports by area/ function
- Other duties as directed
Maximum Salary offered - 6 Lakhs per annum
Profile :
- 2 - 3 years' Experience in continuous improvement assignments in functions such as Production Planning & Control (PPC), Supply chain management or Manufacturing including long term capacity planning, S&OP, Master Scheduling or MRP, sales, sales planning, etc.
- Strong leadership skills, experience working in a unionized environment, ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change
- Previous exposure to a high volume low value SKU environment
- Exposure to food and food processing and FMCG industry
- Ability to work with and influence others in a fast-paced environment, ability to work shifts as required, willing to travel to market as per the need of the project
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills
- Excellent in analysis & reporting tools and techniques
- Prior experience in preparing & extensive usage of forecasting tools, Annual business plan & budgets
