Contract Manufacturing Operations - Procurement - FMCG (5-10 yrs)

JOB PURPOSE :
To optimize value to the company's business on total cost of ownership of finished goods purchase by translating sourcing strategy, formulating and concluding commercial deals for materials in the external supply network w.r.t product portfolio of company's business in India Sub Continent Countries & Export of Finished goods to Global Markets.
Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required :
- Master in Materials Management; Graduate Diploma in Business Management/Material Management OR Chartered accountant OR Chemical Engineer
- Procurement (Materials and finished goods buying)
- 3rd party contractor management
Primary Functions :
- Working along with the Sourcing Group Manager, the Sourcing Manager will devise procurement strategies to deliver value on commercials, flow, support innovation, de-risk categories and deliver quality from the material suppliers.
- Manage the supplier base to maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnership while best serving the internal customers and ensure assurance of supplies by de-risking material vendor base.
- Conduct negotiation with key material suppliers with aim to optimize benefits on assurance of supplies, Quality, Cost & Service.
