Looking for Customer Field Engineer (CFE) for Telemetry and Radar Performance Evaluations Systems

- Experinced customer suport engineer having hands-on experience in maintenace of RF systems, including radar and telemetry systems

- Customer Field Engineer (CFE) would perform routine equipment maintenance, carry out troubleshooting and performance Analysis tasks, and make on-site repairs when needed. The role demands ability to work with limited guidence and to provide remote and/or on-site technical solution to the customers

- The selected candidate will be given product familiarisation training on operation and maintenance aspects of Company's Equipments i.e. Ground Telemetry system and Radar Performance Evaluation Systems

Key Responsibilities of CFE :

- Manage Customer expectations as per the Contract under execution.

- First line of interface for Maintenance. Provide service assistance to customer call-outs over the phone/emails or physical visits.

- Regular interactions / visits to customer locations for

- Equipment inspection and conducting routine preventive maintenance tasks

- Breakdown/corrective maintenance call, including troubleshooting the malfunction and repair the equipment without causing extended equipment downtime.

- Follow the equipment specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance, analysis and preparing quaterly report

- Regular communication and coordination with the various company sites / Equipment OEM for Technical, operational & logistics support

- Installation and maintenance of ground based telemetry system being used in real time reception of the telemetry flight data from onboard aircraft instrumentation.

- Installation and maintenance of Radar Performance and Analysis Systems

Technical Skills :

- Experience in troubleshooting Radar test equipment and/or Telemetry systems level down to sub- system & modules

- Ability to read system schematics, connector ICDs, O&M manuals, etc.

- Ability to perform troubleshoot and repairs using electronic test equipments

- General understanding of signal/data protocols concerning telemetry - PCM telemetery, IRIG 106 standards, RS422/232 serial data protocol, PCI/PCI Express/PXI interface standards, LAN Ethernet protocol,etc.

- General Understanding of Radar Principles of operations and basic architecture, subsystems, modules and interfaces

- Exposure to maintenance of Telemetry decommutation HW, Industrial grade rack mountable computer HW, etc.

- Proficient in use of electronics/electrical measuring equipment/tools- multimeters, oscilloscope, spectrum analysers,etc.

- Proficient in basic computer/IT hardware and software operation and maintenance

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word}

Domain Experience and Skills

- Hands on experience in Maintenance of RF Systems, Radar and Telemetry

- Expereince in LAN based IT hardware maintenance

Education, Experience & Background Preference

- Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation

- Around 1 to 4 years of experience in RF, Radar Maintenance and/or telemetry
