DCS Commissioning Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing Business (3-5 yrs)
Job Description:- DCS Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
- Design and Application Engineering for DCS / PLC retrofit & greenfield projects
- Accomplishing Process Testing of for DCS / PLC retrofit & greenfield projects /Boiler / BOP controls through Tie-Back Simulation
- Conducting customer FAT/SAT
- Performing site commissioning including plant Start-Up
Primary Duties and Accountabilities :
- Site walk-downs for data collection
- Design and implementation of Boiler / BOP and/or Steam Turbine
- Process simulation & testing
- Pre-FAT, FAT & SAT
- Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices
- I/O database partitioning for redundancy and fail-safe configurations
- DCS Engineering for PLC Systems / Boiler / BOP / Plant startup- commissioning
- Working with contractors / sub-contractors
- Nurturing smooth collaboration and communication with all stake holders
Required Skills:
- B. Tech. / B.E. (ECE, I&C, E&I)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Engineering/commissioning for Thermal/CCPP Power Projects.
- Hands on with one or more DCS platforms (e.g. ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI 90, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark VI,Rx3i, Invensys, Honeywell TDC3000, Max DNA,Metso DNA, Alstom Alspa320 etc.)
- Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients and customers
- Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors
- Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
- Ready to take travelling assignment
