Debug Technician - Electronics Engineering (1-5 yrs)

Currently we have openings for Debug/Failure Analysis Technician based out in UK (its onsite opportunity).

Job Description :

Main duties :

- Failure analysis technician is responsible to carry out the analysis of faulty devices, determine the root cause and replace the faulty modules and components.

- The faulty devices are tested in different functional testers to determine the fault cause of the devices. FA technician has to understand the test result and determine the further steps to find the root cause of the failure.

- Within this task he should be capable to use the measuring devices at debug stations such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power meter, signal analyzer.

- FA technician has to understand the soldering processes, capable to solder PTH and SMD components. Its important to differentiate the leaded and lead free soldering.

- During the failure analysis FA technician has to analyze radiofrequency, analogue and digital circuits.


- It requires knowledge of transistor and operational amplifier based circuits, positive and negative feedback, PLL and VCO functionality, switching power supply circuits, digital modulation.

- He/she should understand the logic circuits, gates, clock and data signal lines, memory and processor functionality.

- Mobile telecommunication GSM and 3G basics are benefit.

- Using of personal computer is key.

Requirements :

- English language communication level

- Experience in electronics is basic

- Qualification of electronics

- Knowledge of PC architecture and debugging tools
