Demand Manager - FMCG (10-15 yrs)
- The Demand Manager will implement and manage a robust and regionally consistent demand planning and control process
- The role is responsible for development of 24 month rolling demand plan in monthly buckets in Volume and Gross Margin at the agreed forecast level, updated and signed off each month with assumptions clearly documented and understood
- This demand plan will be the output of a collaborative demand planning process that has strong linkages with the plans of sales and marketing and of customers and is the very best view of future demand. The role is accountable of delivering targeted forecast accuracy KPIs
- The role leads a team of Demand Analysts supporting demand planning and activities
- Ensuring a disciplined and structured demand planning process is running within the cluster for business
- Significant ability to influence senior stakeholders using a combination of data and facts to remove the emotion from demand planning conversations plus a high degree of respect to understand the various qualitative / emotional issues
- Establish and maintain Forecast accuracy on the product Brand level
- Ability to work with incomplete data, fuzzy logic or assumptions to get to decision points and away from endless analysis
- Ensuring a disciplined, standard and structured approach to planning, execution and monitoring of demand planning activities that are consistent with global policies and processes

Reporting to: Operations Manager
Educational Background: Minimum Graduate ( Preferably an Engineering Degree) ; a Post Graduate Degree in Management will be Ideal
Experience: Over all 10 - 15 years of Relevant experience in Sales, Customer Operations, Demand Planing etc.
- Exceptional analytical skills. (Excel, SAP, BO etc)
- Experience of working in matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders is desired
