Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Research & Development - Auto (15-20 yrs)
We have urgent Opening for " DGM/GM - Research and Development " for leading Automobile Company
Role: DGM/GM - Research and Development
Job Location : Mumbai
CTC : As per company Standards
Resposibilities:
- To manage & lead the product development process from the conceptualizing to the post-launch analysis phase.
- Understand and forecast global technological hot spots and recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing global/local demand -supply and business sustainability.
- Understand market perspective and life cycle of existing product range/ changes / new materials and introduce innovative cost effective products, applications, etc.
- Assigns and expedites flow of work, and provides direction to Product Development department personnel.
- Establish priorities for completion of various projects. Provide estimates to the sales / costing department, within established budgetary and time limits.
- Short term and long term Development strategy for meeting the company's vision and goals.
- Working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Production teams to launch new products from time to time and establish sturdy/robust innovation pipeline.
- Giving proposals to the Board regarding new products and its commercialization after board approval.
Skills Required:
- M.Tech. and/or Ph.D in Electronics / Chemical Engineering.
- 15-20 years of experience with good market & product development knowledge
- Should have exposure in development processes and design procedures in Automotive Graphics, Printed Electronics and allied products.
- Should have cross functional expertise in product development as well as productionising the newly developed products in coordination with Marketing & Production Teams.
- Preferably Product Development / Application Developments in Auto Industry
