Deputy Manager - DG Power Plant (12-20 yrs)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to lead our DG Power Plant team in Central Africa. The successful candidate will have:
- 12+ years of experience in DG manufacturing/process plants (cement/metal/mining or similar industries)
- Expertise in erection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HT & LT DG Power Plants (Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar)
- Proven track record in preventive maintenance, shutdown maintenance, and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to maximize plant availability
- Experience in team management (expats and nationals), training, and development
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and budgeting
- Ability to implement cost-saving measures, improve plant productivity, and ensure safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HT & LT DG Power Plants
- Troubleshoot and minimize downtime
- Plan and execute maintenance activities
- Analyze problems and implement solutions
- Lead a team of expats and nationals
- Prepare management reports and budgets
- Ensure safety protocols and implement cost-saving measures
