Job Title : Deputy Manager Logistics - Karnataka
Main Purpose :
To manage an efficient logistics management for Aspri for the specified region/State ensuring that processes and systems are effective to meet the overall company objectives.
Operational Responsibilities :
Sales Orders Processing
- Following up with the SCM team for stock allocation for indents raised by the regional sales team
- Tracking the order status in Tally
- Updating the sales team on orders status
- Raising invoices and DC
Material Management :
- Closing balance ascertainment at the distributors warehouses or corporation depots
- Planning transfer of stock between depots within the same region
- Monitoring loading and unloading activities wherever necessary (specially applicable for locations where there is no company warehouse)
- Stock monitoring and raising requests to Mumbai SCM department
- Ensuring that all stock movements are recorded in system in the form of GRNs, DCs, Inter branch transfer notes etc
- Monitor and ensure recording of Stock issues to customers is as per the defined policies and procedures
- Monitor Maintenance of stock records, and ensure they meet both internal and statutory compliance purposes
- Monitor warehouse related activities
Transport Coordination :
- Coordinate for getting Rate Contracts, Negotiations with transporters, Appointments of new Transporters
- Arranging Vehicles for transportation
- Follow Up for timely delivery of orders
- Approval of Transporter Bills for Payments
Statutory and other Compliances
Ensure compliance to the following compliance related activities:
- Customs - Records maintenance supervision
- Excise - Records maintenance supervision
- Liaison with authorities
- Label Registrations
- Any other Statutory Compliance requirements that may be needed
Team Management :
- Allocate tasks to the team
- Conduct appraisals of the team directly reporting
- Monitor assessment scores and suggest areas for improvement
- Provide feedback for training and development for the team
Any other task as may be delegated by the reporting Manager or Senior Management

Slow/Non Moving Stock not to be more than 10% of the overall stock
100% statutory compliances
Ensuring timely supplies
