Deputy Manager - Mechanical Operations (3-6 yrs)
Job Description :
Position : Deputy Manager - Engineering
Location : Hyderabad
Company : Leading packing service provider for FMCG
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical
Experience : 3- 6 years experience in FMCG / Food (Packing) industry.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Planning and Maintaining all assets of the Factory in then conditions appearance functioning and Hygiene
2. Day to day monitoring on Electrical-Electronics and Mechanical operations
3. To maintain preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions
4. To lead EHS works in site
5. Complete documentations works like CAPA, SOP and Regulatory to meet Audit compliances
6. Maintaining the efficiency level of the output of the machine and its readiness for days packing.
7. Independent Handling of new projects like quotation, negotiations, erections, executions, validations, monitoring performances and sustainability.
8. To plan shifts and staff for the period given. Initiate/promote/facilitate continuous improvements efforts on Quality/Hygiene/ Quantity at the site for growth of the site and effective maintenance of the Assets and operations
9. Provide effective disciplined leadership to the team and co-ordinate with them to all round required growth of the site and effective maintenance of the Assets and operations.
10. Implementation and monitoring of QMS/ISO22000/FSMS requirements
11. To ensure the maintenance of infrastructure effectively and economically at all times
12. To ensure and monitoring spares and inventories
13. To co-ordinate and assist the Additional General Manager/General Manager and other relevant departments
14. To plan and ensure effective safety measures in the premises and operations
15. Controlling of Bulk and packing components wastages
16. Monitors the KPI targets/achievements
17. Sustain OE Requirements
18. Initiate preventive care to reduce customer complaints
Candidate Profile :
- Candidate to have a thorough knowledge of production and operations in packaging lines
- Knowledge of six sigma and lean operations
- Analytical thinking in deploying manpower etc.
- Thorough GMP knowledge in the operations related to our line (specific to food industry preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge and specifications of various equipment used in packaging of food
- Ability to suggest, implement and execute new projects
- Mgmt. skills in leading teams
- Ability to troubleshoot problems arising out of operations as well as people co-ordinations
- Presentation skills, Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
