Deputy Manager - Procurement - Warehousing
- Procurement of equipment/ materials for implementation
- Analyzes procurement capex spend and apprises management of key trends
- In front-end procurement mode, analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules
- Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, approves payment, and maintains necessary records of procurement spend/materials movement
- Coordinates and follows up with stakeholders for warehouse selection, built up and implementation to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services
- Provides detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations team in standardized RFQ/bid and contract processes.
- The candidate should be a B.E./ B.Tech graduate (MBA preferred) with minimum 4 years experience
- Should have procurement knowledge and experience and specifically in warehouse procurement deals and setup
- Good negotiation skills and thorough understanding of warehouse setup
