Role : Deputy Manager - Product Engineering

Experience : 6+ years

Location : Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat (transport available)

Qualification : B.E Electrical /Electronics/Mechatronics

Key Deliverables:

As a Deputy Manager, specializing in Solar products, responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of Solar product solutions for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The position requires collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of solar products, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy technologies

1. Design and develop Solar products meeting industry standards (IEC, UL, CE etc.)

2. Perform portfolio gap analysis

3. Perform Competitive Benchmarking

4. Concept designs & design optimization per customer requirements/industry standards

5. Develop Test plan & perform Design Verification and Validation

6. Liaise with external partners/suppliers for development

7. Transition products for industrialization and commercialization

Key Metrics of the Role:

- 100% Design Quality

- Product Cost (Design)

- On time Delivery (OTD)

- First Time Right Designs (DFTR) meeting Solar standards

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and development of electrical components, with a focus on solar PV systems.

- Proficiency in electrical CAD software and simulation tools is desirable.

- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power electronics, and thermal management principles.

- In depth understanding and experience in various components such as diodes, connection systems applications in Solar industry

- Prior experience in the solar energy industry and familiarity with solar PV system components is necessary.

- Experience with product testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
