Deputy Manager - Production (5-10 yrs)

Job Profile:
1) Assisting the production manager in day to day management of production in the plant
2) Focus on acheiving production and quality targets set by the management
3) Inspection along with QC of all incoming RM / Stores / Spares. Assisting the Production Manager in QA activities
4) Responsible for general working of Plant and assisting line Managers wherever necessary
5) Manage a team of about 25-30 labors and 4-5 supervisors on a day to day basis
Education / Other Minimum Requirements
Education degree is less important but if he is a mechnical engineer it is a plus; but not necessary; main focus is on experience in production management of continious process industry preferably foundry / iron / steel / sponge iron etc. We do not want candidates who have worked in very large organizations as the diverse job responsibilities at our end would not match with his earlier experience. He will be working under the Production Head and reporting directly to him.
