Job Description :
Lead, negotiate and execute all purchasing activities in every phase of the product life cycle
- Manage orders (Tooling, prototype, PPAP notification, blanket/contract orders)
- Continuous focus on benchmarking & market intelligence to strive for cost reduction
- Lead the initial product ramp up at supplier
- Follow market and technology development in its area of expertise
- Ensure close collaboration with the Volvo global team
- Support to SQA for low performance supplier activities
- Lead Engineering Change Management implementation on time
- Lead the Business Review Meetings (BRMs) with supplier
Academic Qualifications : B.E. Mechanical/Automobile
Location : Pithampur
Experience : Min. 2-4 years of relevant experience in Purchasing
Reporting To : Manager Purchasing
