Deputy Manager - Purchase - Auto/Auto Ancillary (5-10 yrs)
The opportunity is with company of repute in this capacity you would be responsible for purchase of Consumables, Spares & Engineering Items
- Responsible for Development, Pricing / Sourcing / Procurement function of bought out materials like Maintenance, Repair and Operating spares and consumables (MRO).
- Procurement of Quality Engineering Goods & spares/Consumables purchase all types of spares like pumps, motor, electrical, mechanical and miscellaneous items of Right Quality & at Right time, Right cost.
- Plan and Procurement of all kinds of Engineering items and materials, Industrial & domestic electrical parts, Safety & protection related accessories, Hardware, Wooden & Corrugated Packing, Printing & Stationary, Computer Hardware & accessories .
- Contracts and work orders Items, Service Contracts (Canteen, Transport, Manpower, Housekeeping, and Gardening)
- Requires to work along with maintenance department for Maintenance, Machine spares, AMCs, Hydraulic & Pneumatic spares procurement.
- Candidate is expected to formulate sourcing strategies, select suppliers, consolidate supplier base, negotiate prices, Reduce cost Year on Year, Co-ordinate with various departments and plants and ensure timely availability of non-production requirements (Indirect Material).
- Should have expertise in Vendor Assessment, Vendor Selection and Vendor Management, Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation & Capable of developing Vendors independently.
- Ensure regular follow up with the suppliers, Monitor & Improve supplier performance. & Develop new alternative sources of supply
- Inventory management, Responsible for replenish the Stores for Indirect Purchase items, Monitoring Level of Inventory by ABC analysis / FSN analysis
- Timely MIS Reports. Knowledge of IMS/IATF Audit and Documentation.
- Candidate should be conversant in SAP ERP system and Advance Excel Skill
Education and experience :
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Automotive /Process Industry/ Power / Oil & Gas / Textile / Sugar / Chemicals Etc.
