Job title: Deputy Manager - QMS (Female Candidate Only)

1.0 Job purpose

1.1 Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained.

2.0 Key tasks/ Responsibilities

2.1 Conducting periodic audits of projects and functions and ensuring timely closure of NCs issued during internal & external audits

2.2 Monitor and report the non compliance related data on periodic basis and ensure the completion of corrective & preventive actions

2.3 Focal person for all QMS operations like arranging / conducting audits, process improvements, tracking functional objectives etc

2.4 Conduct QMS training programs to staff as per training calendar (QMS education, awareness & culture building)

2.5 Contribute in continual improvement initiatives and projects

2.6 Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS.

2.7 Ensure that an internal audit programme is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained.

2.8 Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made.

2.9 Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.

2.10 Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process.

3.0 Competencies

3.1 Self starter/ ability to work independently and take initiative

3.2 Speaking/writing fluently in English

3.3 Should be expert in MS Excel, Word and Power Point

3.4 Strong communication & presentation skills & influencing ability

3.5 Ability to communicate with overseas counterparts

4.0 Education

4.1 Graduation with at least 60% marks from a reputed college

4.2 Post graduation in Business Administration preferred

5.0 Experience

5.1 Industry exposure for 7-8 years minimum

5.2 Last 3 years as Management representative for quality system compliance as per ISO 9001 standards

5.3 Must have manufacturing background

5.4 Experience in QMS internal audit/external audit

5.5 Working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM and 6-Sigma policies and procedure such as SPC, cost reduction ideas etc.

5.6 Should possess working knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO 14001) & OHSAS (ISO 18001)
