Role and Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development: Lead the ideation, design, and execution of innovative R&D aimed at enhancing existing products and developing new products or technologies.
- Technical Design: Create detailed technical specifications, and schematics for new HVAC components and systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Testing and Validation: Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and tests to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and durability of prototypes. Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other departments and software developers, to integrate various system components seamlessly.
- Product Improvement: Identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization through continuous analysis of market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
- Prototyping: Lead the prototyping process, including selecting materials, coordinating fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototype systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all R&D projects meet high-quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance in the HVAC industry.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of R&D processes, design decisions, test results, and project progress.
- Certifications : Coordinate and assist in all important certifications like ISO, Eurovent, AHRI etc.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technologies, attend industry conferences, and actively contribute for continuous innovation.
Skills:
- Experience in HVAC system design, research, and development.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and a creative approach to innovation.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
