Deputy Plant Manager - Chemicals/Lubricants Manufacturing (13-18 yrs)
- Our client is a leading Germany based MNC which has pioneered the concept of high performance speciality lubricants. Its Indian subsidiary is headquartered in Bangalore. They cater to various industrial segments like Cement, Steel, Automotive, Textile, Food & Pharma and Metal Working processes. They are ISO / TS / 16949 : 2009 certified and has its state of the art production facility located in Bidadi to manufacture high quality speciality lubricants. They are looking for a Dy. Plant Manager to head entire Process & Production
- Reporting into the COO in India and handling a team of 50 permanent workmen, you will be responsible for:
- Managing Production & Execute Strategic Plan related to Production in a batch process chemical plant and should be familiar with ISO / IATF systems.
- Preventive maintenance, Upkeep of Plant and Machinery, Exemplary Housekeeping, HSE compliance w.r.t Plant & strict adherence to Waste norms
- Fulfilling all statutory norms under KSPCB such as regular returns, forms, approvals etc.
- Driving Change Control Management, Contamination prevention system, Operational Excellence, Innovation and Improvement Culture within department
- Co-Coordinating with Purchase / Planning /Sales For all production activities
- Leading the project management team with overall project responsibility right from project initiation to closure.
- Successfully handling turnkey projects from project conceptualisation, planning, designing, budgeting & execution.
- Having sound knowledge of pressure reactions, kinetic processes and such other parameters essential for chemical plant design. Involving in complete engineering management throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Liaising with Govt. officials for project related activities
Ideally you are a Chemical Engineer with 13-17 years of experience with strong background of multi product manufacturing, batch Process, material planning, knowledge of chemical process and process hazard/Hazop study. You should have excellent man management skills which will be required to train related people upon project completion & handover. You should have demonstrated excellent track record in your last roles and should be ready for the next challenging role in a growing organisation.
