Design Architect - Revit/CAD/Industrial Design (4-8 yrs)
I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : In addition to following WD Partners values, policies, and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position currently include, but are not limited to, the following :
Document Production :
- Prepare and layout drawings according to established design and drafting standards
- Access client drawings from a file database to work on assignments
- Document and save project work per established guidelines to ensure the integrity of the file management and quality of production
- Draft elements of production drawings using CAD software (Revit) based on prototype files, written direction, or verbal input from lead designer
- Perform basic development of architectural features including walls, partitions, reflected ceiling plans, casework details, and FF&E packages
- Coordinate with lead designer and other disciplines within the project team and across multiple WD offices. And, when applicable, external resources required for project completeness
- Make revisions based on required adjustments communicated by the lead designer
- Seek supervisory assistance and clarification of ambiguities in scope
- Verify the accuracy of the project information and measurements through site visits or information gathered by others (as requested)
Project Workflow :
- Communicate with the lead designer on the status of your individual work as it relates to the scope and milestones of a project's timelines
- Coordinate with the lead designer or project manager to review the status of the project deliverables

Minimum Experience :
- 4 year Bachelor's of Science degree in Architecture, Interior/Environments Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience in creative or related field
- 0 - 4 years of professional experience in an architectural team environment
