Design Director (Commercial Fit-Out)

Role & Responsibilities :

- To understand and assess projects from initial concept, ensuring they align with the practice's standards

- Liaise directly with clients, leading presentations and meetings

- Manage the design process across all stages, ensure the required standard is achieved and the design is in-line with the initial brief and project deliverables/objectives

- To manage and mentor members of the team, including designers, architectural staff, and CAD support technicians

- Provide design solutions and promote creativity

- Promote internal policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety

- Stay up to date with industry trends

Qualification & Experience :

1. B. Arch with 20+ Years of Industry Experience within commercial fit-out

2. Possess the ability to develop projects through the full design process from concept design to project delivery.

3. You have a strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution.

4. You are a team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile

5. You have multi-tasking ability, with time management and organisational skills.

6. Strong AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and hand sketching skills

7. Confident communicator, both written and verbal. Able to liaise with clients and lead presentations

8. Team management experience

9. Ability to travel to sites/client meetings as and when required
