Design Engineer (1-2 yrs)
OB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Design Engineer
Department: Design and Development
Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical
- Very good English language skills (spoken and written)
- At least 1 year work experience in the design field.
- Must have intention for long-term employment
- Should know Auto CAD and Solidworks software's
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative approach for generating new ideas.
- An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles.
- An understanding of different construction and manufacturing methods.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the qualities of various materials; especially steels.
- An understanding of metal machining and fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Use software like Solidworks and AutoCAD to create models and drawings of parts, assemblies, moulds, etc.
- Involvement in machine/mechanism assembly.
- Assist engineering staff in the design and development of systems and components.
- Organize and maintain existing engineering records.
- Collaborate with the engineering staff to produce design sketches and drawings in accordance with applicable standards. Accurately incorporate symbols and tolerances into design drawings.
- Interface with local vendor/supplier's companies.
- Cooperate and coordinate with colleagues, customers, vendors, etc. for achieving company goals.
- Abide by the company code of conduct.
