Design Engineer - BIW Engineering (3-4 yrs)
- BE Mech/Auto with 3-4yrs total experience.
- Min. 3 yrs extensive experience in CATIA V5
- Fluency, Expertise and using innovative methods in CAD modelling and CAD model modifications.
- Good skills in surface modelling
- Good knowledge and experience in Sheet metal and fabrication, Welding.
- Knowledge of functional, Durability & regulatory requirements of BIW
- Exposure to global requirements for BIW engineering & design (Body side Closures, Underbody and front end)
- Capable to develop sheet metal components (BIW) using Surface design
- Must have knowledge in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various parts
- Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
- Joining processes, Spot welding etc.,
- Good knowledge in GD&T.
- Ability use kinematics
- Good communication skills and Fluency in English
