Job Description :

- Responsible for drawing study, Design review, Tool development, CATIA, Mold or Part design.

Job Responsibilities : (Day to day activities of the job holder)

- Drawing study and preparation of PSS.

- Preparation of Technical specification sheet (mold, material etc.) during RMBSS, SE and production drawing.

- Prepare and issue process plan during RFQ and SE and Production drawing.

- DR (design review) internally and issue DR request sheet to TGJ design.

- SE Activities

- Prepare and issue mold specification sheet to supplier.

- Manage CAD data from TG group and tool shops.

- Preparation of CAE

- Mold design review and approval to supplier

- Management of TPR (Tool Progress Review)

- Communicate with TGJ/ OTHER TG GROUP (when required) regarding components and tools.

- Input bill of material routing information into JDE using process plan on backup basis.

- Attend tool trials at supplier / in-house and Injection condition set up

- Prepare visual charts and reports.

- Preparation of MSCN and approval.

- Follow up and implementation of ECR / ECI (tool related) and MSCN.

- Tool dissembles and checks as per drawing and design.

- Assist pre-production as needed.

- Meet Productivity (CT) and rejection targets.

- Work in a safe manner and maintain 5S.

4. Results/ Deliverables :

Quantifiable :

- Meet Productivity (CT) and rejection targets.

- Implementation of ECR / ECI (tool related) and MSCN as per Schedule.

- Management of TPR (Tool Progress Review)

- Maintaining record of CAD data from TG group and tool shops.

8. Qualifications and Experience required :

- Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Tool and Die making, with 3 to 5 years of experience in related field.
