Design Engineer - Creo/3D Modeling (2-3 yrs)
Skill Requirements :
- Strong experience of 3D modelling and 2D drafting/detailing of mechanical components and assemblies using CREO 2.0 and/or CREO3.0.
- Preferable to have experience of 3D CAD Modelling and 2D drafting/detailing of heavy machinery domain, and exposure to modelling and detailing of these components.
- Able to handle large assemblies.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as Sheetmetal, casting, forging and machining
- Ability to understand requirements, perform basic design calculations, create design concepts / packaging layouts
- Creative, possess good visualization skills
- Ability to create detailed designs considering Design for manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings in CREO 2.0/3.0/4.0
- Design components according to DFM and DFA.
- Good understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a must!
- Exposure to tolerance stack-up calculations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
Qualifications and Experience :
- BE or Diploma (Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Aerospace Engineering / Tool Design) from reputed institute / university
- Relevant Experience : 2 to 4 Years
- Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
- Good proficiency in Creo2.0/3.0/4.0. Preferable to have exposure to other tools such as UNIGRAPHICS.
- Candidates MUST have knowledge in SHEET METALS.
