Design Engineer - Creo/AutoCAD (4-8 yrs)
Job Description :
- Work on Product design and development activities and Order related activities.
- Develop innovative and cost effective mechanical designs using plant standard procedures, engineering knowledge and experience.
- Performing engineering related calculations for day-to-day activities and long-term projects
- Review customer specification, analyze engineering requirement and propose engineered solutions.
- Working with Design and Manufacturing Engineers, following the manufacturing and assembling process, employ problem solving skills to resolve issues encountered.
- Creation of 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOM using Creo, Autocad
- Creation of P&IDs, GAs, fabrication drawings, bills of material
- Proper documentation of all work
- Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering team
- Interactions with global engineering teams.
- Liaise with production plant during build process
- Engineering change management with internal departments
- Drive continuous improvement in the team
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends.
