Design Engineer - Electrical (5-15 yrs)
Role : Design Engineer - Electrical
Work is varied and will typically include :
- Electrical design and calculation of PMCC, MCC, VCC & AFC Panels etc.
- Design and development of SLD, Cable sizing, earthing calculation, transformer sizing calculations, Electrical load calculation, Cable schedule, sizing of cable tray, Cable termination schedule with tag number etc.
- Good knowledge IS Codes i.e. IS, BIS, NEC & IEC.
- Switchgear calculation for HV Switchgear and Low voltage switchgear.
Responsibilities :
- Preparation of Key Single Line Diagram.
- Preparation of Power & Lighting Transformer sizing calculation.
- Preparation of Cable Sizing Calculations with their schedule.
- UPS & DC System & Battery Bank Sizing Calculation.
- Earthing calculation & earthing layout preparation, Trench layout, Cable layout etc.
- Lightning calculation & lightning layout preparation, using specific standard and technical specification.
- Illumination calculation for Indoor and Outdoor lights using DIALUX.
- Involved in basic designing and detailed designing of project.
- Preparation of Complete Load list, based on mechanical load list.
- Relay Testing, Equipment Testing, Control / Protection scheme testing & Commissioning.
- Development of total bill of quantity for full system.
- Development of Single line diagram HT & LT Breaker Panels.
Requirements :
- Suitable degree in Electrical or relevant engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience.
- Experience in Water, Waste Water, Thermal Power, STP, WTP or other highly regulated industrial environment.
- Conversant with tools Revit, MATLAB, AUTO CAD and MS Excel.
- Proven strong strategic, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
