Design Engineer - Fire Industry (2-5 yrs)
Skills Required:
- Experience in BMS / EMS / ELV - CCTV, Access Control System (ACS), Fire alarm/detection system, Gas suppression, Firefighting system design
- Utilize software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar for drafting and modelling
- Good knowledge of Floor layout / RCP coordination Drawings & Standards
Scope and Responsibilities:
- Develop BMS/ELV/Fire Fighting design concepts based on project requirements, building codes, and industry Standards, local building codes etc.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for ELV / BMS Fire Fighting.
- Coordinate BMS/ELV Fire Fighting design with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Review and incorporate feedback from clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Conduct technical reviews and quality checks to ensure designs meet required specifications.
- Prepare equipment schedules, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Support Managers in pre-sales, execution of BMS/ELV design activities, including scheduling, budgeting.
- Document as-built drawings, equipment data sheets, and manuals for handover to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- BE/ Diploma 2+ years of Design. Experience in BMS / ELV /fire industry is required.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is a must: Fire detection, Suppression and Protection and Access Video, Intrusion and Building Management Systems.
