Design Engineer - Metal (1-10 yrs)

Required Skill set and Area of Experience:

- Expertise in Surface and Sheet metal and Casting Modelling using CATIA software

- Should have good Technical knowledge on automotive systems & excellent communication skills

- Should possess Proactive communication & problem-solving capability based on detailed analysis

- Design knowledge of the components on the area of experience.

- Material knowledge & Manufacturing process knowledge (especially on experience area)

- Knowledge of product development and release of TcAE and product life cycle management

- Preparation of engineering drawings for the projects to include: preliminary design, calculations, GD&T and manufacturing feasibility

- Preference would be given to those who have worked in multiple disciplinary & Reverse engineering projects esp. from OEM / Tier 1

- Preference would be given to those who have created CAD by using stl files (Cloud points data)

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

- Automobile background

- More exposure in Large assembly creation

- Skeleton creation and Layout control of large assemblies

- Knowledge in Welding

- More exposure in surface/Casting modelling

Roles & Responsibilities:

At the Role of Design Engineer responsible for,

- Detailed input study for the allocated components

- Self-estimation for the allocated component

- Work on the CAD software for creation of 3D/2D models

- Self-quality check and Check list completion

- Delivery document preparation

- TcAE upload and release the model

- Peer QC for other components

- Entry of worksheet day to day

- Estimation for the project

- Support team members on Tool/Technical
