Design Engineer - Static Equipments (4-8 yrs)

Qualification - BE Mechanical
Experience - 4 to 8 years sound knowledge and experience in designing pressure vessels and storage tanks.
- Familiar with ASME Sec VIII div 1 provisions.
- Experience in using designing software like PV elite preferable.
Main Function :
- To design pressure vessels, skids, piping and storage tanks.
- To supervise, guide, control and execute detailing of pressure vessels, storage tanks and pipe spools.
- To maintain high level of productivity and quality.
- To provide engineering support for product development that the company may undertake from time to time.
Main Objective :
1. Design pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skids, piping and storage tanks.
2. Delegating detailing work of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks and pipe spools to draughtsmen.
3. Liaison, coordinate and communicate with customer on all matters related to designing and detailing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks.
4. Monitoring & controlling progress & quality of detailing work related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and pipe spools.
5. Work towards achieving delivery targets and customer priorities.
6. Ensure optimization of capabilities of engineering software used.
7. Support Sales and Estimation for submitting bids and quotes.
8. Adherence to ISO, ASME, National Board and Customer standards.
9. Work towards achieving ISO Quality Objectives.
10. Preparation and submission of various periodical reports.
11. Performance Management execution, review & recording.
12. Identify training needs & plan and impart training.
13. Provide Engineering support for new product development.
