Design Head - Textile House

- The role of the Chief Design Officer is to lead the designing process for making seasonal collection and new product developments as per international trend and forecast.

- Also to review the designs collection at each and every stage, monitoring trends, quality, timelines and specifications as per the requirements of the customers. Same way to introduce new products with new blends, new yarns, to develop new weaves and new finishes.

- To establish, monitor and constantly upgrade the Design process.

- Establish the Design process, as per the Annual/Quarterly Business requirements

- Review of design process regularly to support sales team with design freshness every season

- Lead & review the research process to plan for the upcoming seasons and beyond

- Ensure development of color boards, mood boards & look boards as per brand images to get new colors and new structure in fabrics.

- Regularly visit international design events and fairs like Premier Vision, Milano Unica, Pitti Uomo etc. to establish market and fashion connect

- Leverage the connect for trend forecasting in fabric & new product development

- Research extensively on trends and opportunities for blends, yarns and finishes

- Collaborate with global consultants to identify new products & trends

- Work closely with raw material suppliers to get new blends and finishes on regular bases

- Establish and monitor the calendar for booking schedules for both seasons.

- Lead the internal planning process for number of designs for collection to be made available as per the booking calendar

- Focus on increasing the VAP % in every OTC Booking.

- To give all details for bulk productions

- Check fabric at every stage of production, to review whether it is meeting the samples specifications.
